SET PROCEDURE Stage strike from the starter stages (1-2-1) for the first match of the set, i.e.:

• Players decide on their characters (double blind if necessary - ask a TO for help if in need of a third party to mediate)
• Rock-Paper-Scissors played to determine stage striking
• Winner of RPS strikes one stage to NOT be played in game one
• Loser of RPS strikes two stages
• Winner of RPS decides on Match 1 stage from remaining two stages
• For remaining games of the set, first, the winner of the previous game may firstly select two stages to ban their opponent from selecting
• The loser of the previous game then selects a stage, although this may not be the last stage that player won a game on in this set (modified DSR)
• After stage selection, each player may choose to change character, starting with the winner of the previous game
