**Players eligible for opt-in include:**

* Top 64 placement at Rollback Rumble: The Big One, Riptide, or Mainstage 2021 (Mainstage eligibility will be activate on 11/16)

* Top 32 placement at Low Tide City

* Top 16 placement at Super Smash Con 2021

* Top 8 placement at Smash Kumite DX, Battle Gateway 31, or Ebong 2021

* Top 8 in the Australia 2021 power ranking, Top 16 of the S.A.M.E Circuit, participation in SCL Season 1 or 2, SWT Regional final event, or in any Smash Summit.

Super Smash Bros. Melee is the second installment in the Super Smash Bros. series and the follow-up to the Nintendo 64 title. It includes all playable characters from the first game, and also adds characters from franchises such as Fire Emblem, of which no games had been released outside Japan at the time. Super Smash Bros.
