Tournament Rules
----- General Information -----
-This tournament is BYOC (Bring Your Own Controller).
-Permitted controllers are the Gamecube Controller, Switch Pro Controller and Switch Joycons. Joycons are not recommended due to having wireless interference issues. incompatible controllers that use adapters to connect (such as PS4 and Xbox controllers) are not permitted.
-DO NOT leave the venue when you are due to play tournament. Schedule for the event will be put up at least a day before the event. Please plan accordingly.
-During pools, please stay with your group at all times. If you can't be found during your pool matches, you face disqualification.
-We can not allow alcohol into the venue. If you are found to have alcohol, we will confiscate it.
-Absolutely no illegal substances allowed. If you are have any of these on you at this event, you will be removed from the venue and banned from future events.
----- Food&Drink -----
-Light refreshments will be for sale in the venue.
-You are welcome to bring your own food and drink into the venue, but food and open drinks are not allowed in the tournament room. Bottled drinks are acceptable in the main room.
----- Equipment -----
-During registration, you will be asked if you can bring a setup. In this case, a setup refers to: A Nintendo Switch with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, a Nintendo Switch Dock, and the accompanying power cable/hdmi cable. We will provide our own safety mechanisms for consoles. But if people wish to bring their own we can accept using those too.
=Setups are required for this event to run as smoothly as possible. Please specify if you can bring a setup during registration, and for every setup you bring, you will be given a free raffle ticket.
-We do not require any TV's for this event.
-If you use a wireless controller, you are responsible for the battery life of your controller.
