Fight Pitt 9 is a ONE-day Super Smash Brothers Melee tournament taking place at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania!

Fight Pitt will feature Melee Singles and Doubles with Bracket Pools and a plethora of setups for friendlies!

We plan on running a toggleable version of UCF for this event which will allow each player to choose between Vanilla, UCF, or Arduino adapter controls. However, this Toggle Mod is still in development and being tested at our Man on a Ledge weeklies.

Melee Singles will be capped at 256 entrants and Melee Doubles will be capped at 64 teams.

Venue Fee:

$5: Early-bird Price (November 8 - November 25)

$10: Early Reg (November 26 - December 31)

$15: Normal Reg (January 1 - March 20)

$20: Last Minute Reg (March 21 - April 2)

There will be rebates for bringing setups! You will get $5 back for one full setup, $10 if you bring two full setups, etc. We'll offer rebates up to at least 50 total setups!

Schedule:

9:00am: Doors Open

10:30am: PGH Old School vs New School Crew Battle

11:00am: Melee Doubles

2:00pm: Melee Singles Wave A

3:15pm: Melee Singles Wave B

4:30-5:00pm: Melee Singles Top 64, Ladder Matchmaking, and Amateur Brackets

~7:30pm or earlier: Melee Singles Top 8
