Tournament Overview

Gamefest 2019 will have an CSGO tournament that will span both days and will feature the following:

• 5v5, team-based
• Bring-your-own-computer
• Tournament held on both days, with the finals on Day 2, November 3rd

Competitive Structure

Each tournament round will use the standard competitive ruleset with two different round structures:

• The group stage will use a round robin format
• Top 4 teams play in single elimination, best of 3 playoffs

• de_train
• de_mirage
• de_inferno
• de_vertigo
• de_overpass
• de_nuke

Tournaments

Competitors will be able to participate in multiple tournaments. Competitions must follow the individual rules set for each game they are competing in. If competitors join multiple events scheduled for the same time, they will be assessed with a game/round loss if they are unable to participate in their match for the round. This judgement will be handed out at the discretion of the tournament administration for each game. Tournament administrators shall have full power in the matter of interpretation, amendment, and enforcement of all esport tournament rules and regulations.

Network usage

The downloading and sharing of copyright-protected work without permission is illegal and will be prohibited from occurring on any networks or devices during the duration of Gamefest. Doing so can result in expulsion and/or disqualification

Photography and Filming

All attendees agree they may be photographed or filmed while visiting Gamefest and consent to release all personal rights to any show images or videos produced at Gamefest

Miscellaneous

Any behavior resulting in complaints from other attendees, visitors, or exhibitors which, in the opinion of Georgia Tech Esports, is disruptive to the event or interferes with the right of others to enjoy the event or exposes them to annoyance or danger may, at Georgia Tech Esports' sole discretion, result in grounds for immediate removal from the event. Any matters not specifically covered by the preceding rules terms and conditions and/or regulations shall by subject solely to the discretion of Georgia Tech Esports. Georgia Tech Esports shall have full power in the matter of interpretation, amendment, and enforcement of all said rules and regulations
