Players are responsible for their own controllers. If their controller dies, malfunctions, causing multiple syncing issues or causes any other disruptions, players may incur a stock loss, followed by a game loss up to disqualification for subsequent offenses.

Be ready to play at all times. You may be penalized stocks, games or disqualified if you delay your game. Let a tournament official know if you have any kind of emergency.

Mii Fighters: All moveset combinations are legal.

If opponent is playing a Mii Fighter, you may ask to demonstrate the moveset before the game.

Amiibos are banned.

Starter stages: Battlefield, Final Destination, Pokémon Stadium 2, Smashville, Town And City

Counter-picks: Kalos Pokémon League, Lylat Cruise, Yoshi’s Story

To decide the first stage, players play a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors. The Rock Paper Scissors winner strikes a starter stage. The Rock Paper Scissors loser then strikes two starter stages. The Rock Paper Scissors winner strikes a starter stage and the game is played on the remaining starter stage. From that point forward. the game winner will strike two stages from all available stages and the loser will pick an available stage.

If a game ends with a self-destruct move, the results screen will determine the winner.

If the clock runs and both players have equal stocks, the lower percentage wins.

Sudden Death with tied percentage/stock will result in a 1 stock/2 minutes playoff match.

There will be no loading anything on to the tournament consoles.

Pausing is only legal while either player remains upon their own respawn platform, and only for the purpose of summoning a tournament official. All other pauses will incur a stock loss to the player who pauses the game.
