Event Rules

If you play on a wireless connection and the game becomes choppy and unstable, we will have to DQ

Rules
  • Matches
    • Rounds will be 99 seconds long
    • Each match will consist of 2 rounds
  • Sets
  • Each set is on a first-to-2 match win bases, these scores will be reflected in the lobby *After completing a set, the standings must be sent to a participating Ref/Admin
  • Post Match Rules
    • The player who won the last Game is required to keep the same character, however they can change their V-Trigger and V-Skill as long as their new V-Trigger and V-Skill choice is made before their opponent selects their own V-Trigger and V-Skill.
    • The player who lost the last Game is allowed to choose whatever they wish when choosing character, V-Trigger and V-Skill.
    • The player who won the game does not have the option of switching sides. He/she must stay on the same side if the loser does not want to switch.
    • Once a player has won the required number of games, the winner of the Match should report the result to the Tournament Organizer.
    • The Match is over when either player wins the required number of games.
  • Characters
  • Every character is available for select
  • Capcom Pro Tour costume rules apply
  • Capcom Pro Tour Stage rules apply as well
  • The Grid, Kanzuki Beach, Flamenco Tavern, Skies of Honor, Field of Fate and Mysterious Cove stages are banned from Tournament play

How to Register:

Due to current constraints on our tournament hosting application, we cannot create an online event that participants will pay for, thus we are making these events for those who follow our socials (Twitter, Twitch and Discord). Going forward, if participants wish to register for our league/tournaments, they will need to follow our socials. You can find all our big changes and news on our discord and socials!

Winner and losers finals, semi-finals, and grand finals will be streamed on the final day of the rAge live Expo.

Rules
  • Please check each event for their specific rules
Reporting Scores
  • When a tournament starts, give all registered players a role in order to access a text channel in which they must report their scores.
  • If participants finish their matches, they must go to the smash.gg brackets and report their scores, there will be a 10 minute limit to do so. Afterwards, they must add a screenshot to the discord as proof.
  • Players will be able to add their scores, but we need visual confirmation
  • Players can @ any mod, or the mod role itself.
