Tournament Rules

  • Bring your own controller.
  • Respect others – don’t be a douche.
  • Respect their property – if you break it, you pay for it.
  • Respect their time – don’t be late.
  • Respect yourself – don’t cheat.
  • Desync your ds4 after playing.

  • Bring your own controller.

  • Game settings: default, 2/3 games of 2/3 rounds unless specified otherwise. 3/5 games in top 3 unless specified otherwise. Character selection: there are no character bans unless specified. Character switch is allowed between matches of a set for a losing side. Blind pick is allowed.

  • Breaks: the players are given one minute between games of a set.

  • Game pause: caused by player results in round forfeit, unless the judge evaluates the situation as an inevitable defeat for one of the sides. If the game pause is caused by a person not currently playing (e.g. via a wireless controller) the situation will be judged on a case by case basis.

  • Controller malfunctions: the player is considered to be responsible for the functionality of his or her controller. Midgame malfunctions result in round forfeit; the player will be given 5 minutes to acquire adequate controller substitution.

  • Software macros: Allowed if available in-game.

  • Hardware assist: Forbidden unless proven to provide functionality equivalent to software macros exclusively.

  • Converters: Allowed if proven to provide cross-platform adapting functionality exclusively. Talk to Tournament Organiser (TO) before the tournament to make sure your converter is allowed.

  • Coaching: Players can be coached in between games by a single person as long as the time limit is respected.

  • Players are responsible to know where and when they are supposed to show up for the tournament games. Not being on time might result in getting knocked down to losers bracket or disqualification.

  • Collusion, sandbagging, or any other type of misbehaviour with a goal of tournament results manipulation will result in disqualification. If you finished playing on PlayStation 4 or Nintendo Switch please do desync your wireless controller.
