Hi guys! I'm Eric or better known as Ricky in the Smash community. I started playing melee in early 2016 and have had a passion for the game ever since. Last year at Shine, I got 97th and had an amazing time. I now am the TO every week at the HoG Weekly in Wallingford CT, Connecticut's biggest tournament series! I Would love to go to Shine but with need the help with housing/gas/fees and any help would be extremely helpful. Without the help, it will be hard to commit to this event and/or help and compete as I plan. By me being at this event, I will not only compete, but help to volunteer and TO to make everyone else's tournament experience the best I possibly can. Shine was an amazing event last year and I want to do everything I can to make it better and more enjoyable for you guys. I'm Currently 10th on the CT Power Rankings and have been very successful with my Teammate,  Thumbs (to team at Shine!) Lastly, I'm not asking for very much money as I can drive myself, but again it would help with fees, gas, or housing and making me be able to attend Shine. Super Smash Bros. Melee is the second installment in the Super Smash Bros. series and the follow-up to the Nintendo 64 title. It includes all playable characters from the first game, and also adds characters from franchises such as Fire Emblem, of which no games had been released outside Japan at the time. Super Smash Bros.
