EMPRESS LEAGUE TOURNAMENT RULES

• Players are required to check-in 15 minutes prior to the start time of the tournament via #💡-check-in.
• If a player is more than 15 minutes late without prior notice or approval from the administration team, the team will forfeit the match.
• Custom lobbies are to be set up by @EMPRESS CAPTAIN only. Instructions shared via #🤠-captains. You may not start without the go ahead from myself or @Leishaa.
• Scores after each match must be submitted via a screenshot or clip in #✍-score-entries.
• During the entirety of the competition, you must be within your assigned Discord voice channel.
• Perspectives must be recorded and at least 1 person per team must be streaming. If your perspective is called into question and you cannot provide a recording, or proof of your gameplay, this will result in a forfeit where applicable or team penalty. If you have issues doing either of these, please notify @Leishaa immediately. Please start and stop recordings between games.
• A stream delay of 2-minutes is enforced. Please use #TheEmpressLeague or #EmpressLeague in your respective titles and social posts.
• These tournaments are catered exclusively for women. As such only those identifying as women are invited to sign up, and only the approved competitor is allowed to play. If someone else plays on your account, at your PC, or similar - all prize monies will be voided across the entire team it applies to.
• Toxic, abusive or derogatory behaviour both within the Discord, tournament and on external platforms will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the tournament and any future Empress Leagues.
• Please disable streamer-mode in-game.
• Do not cheat. This will result in removal from the competition, re-allocation of prize monies to the subsequent competitor(s), and removal from both the tournament and any future Empress Leagues.
• Due to the nature of online competitions, matches will not automatically be restarted or made null due to bugs, intentional or unintentional disconnections. Any technical issues must be played through unless both teams and Empress agree to either use 1 technical pause or restart completely (ie: someone's power goes out). This must immediately be flagged in #🛑-tournament-help.
• Each team is given 1 technical pause each game to a total of 5 minutes. This applies to unintentional disconnections, lag, etc. You must flag this delay within #🛑-tournament-help - if a reason is found illegitimate, a penalty will apply. Only captains can call a pause unless they are the one with the issue.
• In the event a team requires multiple technical pauses due to unforeseen circumstances, this may be applied on compassionate grounds and within agreement between both affected teams and Empress.
• In the event of a complete server issue or crash, only games which are completed will be scored. Otherwise a re-match will be put into effect.
• In game names and tags are required to be appropriate. If an admin requests you to change, you must do so immediately.
• Payout for Empress League prize money follows a 30-day payment term and will require an invoice. Teams affected will be messaged by Nicole.
• Teams which win prize money will be required to confirm identity via means of identification - license, etc.
• Competitors can only be on one team throughout the tournament, even those who substitute. Teams must be consistent.
• You must NOT communicate with your coach during live play (timeouts are TECHNICAL ONLY, coaches may NOT communicate), this includes voice chat, external messages and any form of communication. If you are found conversing with a coach or anyone third party while playing, you will forfeit your game.
