Unfortuntely, Long Island isn't everyone's dream vacation spot, so the hotel is about five miles from the venue. Someone will more than likely be able to pick you up from the hotel, or you can grab an Uber or Taxi.

Some Long Island smashers can potentially offer housing. So, if you're not interested in spending money at a hotel, get your name out quickly, because houses fill up fast.

FOR THOSE FLYING IN: The best airport to fly into is JFK. From JFK, you can follow the signs to take the air train to Jamaica station. From there, hop on a train to Deer Park, and you'll be at the venue in about one hour. Someone can get you from there.

PLEASE COORDINATE WITH THE PERSON HOUSING YOU. AS THEY MAY BE ABLE TO GET YOU FROM A DIFFERENT TRAIN STATION IF YOU ARE COMING IN THE NIGHT BEFORE.

Please do not waste money taking a car from the airport. The train is so easy and much more inexpensive. People at the airport are helpful. Just ask for help.

IF YOU ARE FLYING INTO LAGUARDIA, take the Q70 bus to 74th Street, follow the signs for the 7 line subway toward Manhattan. Take that for 2 stops to 62 St., Woodside, LIRR. From there, you can take the LIRR toward Deer Park. It's quite a bit more complex than flying into JFK, but it's still doable!

REMEMBER, FLY JFK. COORDINATE WITH PEOPLE ON GETTING RIDES AND HOUSING. DO NOT SAVE YOUR PLANNING UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE OR YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE A REALLY BAD TIME.
