## Overview
The Grid is hosting an online, single-elimination, 1v1 League of Legends Tournament! The first games start at 7 PM CST, and the tournament is limited to the first 32 players so sign up quick!

## Online Operation
**All team players must be in the Tournament voice channel of the Grid discord server 30 minutes before the tournament begins or be disqualified.**

When the tournament begins, a Grid organizer will bring each pair of competing team captains into a private discord call to go over the rules and help set up the match. An organizer may also ask to spectate the game in order to stream it on the Grid Twitch channel (twitch.tv/thegridgamingus).

In the event of a problem, a player may pause the game for any reason, with a maximum of 10 minutes pause time throughout the entire tournament. They must then immediately report to the referee and explain the issue.

After a match is completed, both team captains report the scores to a Grid organizer in the discord.

## In-Store Operation

All rules for online competition still apply, but all competitors may choose to play their matches in-store for no additional charge. In addition throughout the competition, there will be random drawings for snacks, drinks, and a 30-day Grid Membership.

## Rules
The tournament will be played on the most recent live patch. All games will be contested on Howling Abyss.  Each tournament match will be “best-of-3"

For each match, there will be a coin toss, and the winner of the coin toss will choose which side of the map After the first game in the set, the loser of the previous game will choose.

Games are Blind pick and played on Howling Abyss

1) First blooding your opponent 
2) being the first player in the round to reach 50 CS 
3) Being the first player to Destroy your enemies tower

ENTRY IS LIMITED TO PLAYERS IN ARKANSAS, MISSOURI, OKLAHOMA. you will be disqualified if you're not from these regions 


**first game starts at 2:00 PM, Bracket will be finalized on Smash.gg 30 minutes before our first game starts. players must start their game within 10 minutes of the round starting or be disqualified (players who are present will not be disqualified but must reach out to the TO.**

 Seeding will be managed by our community leaders. The bracket will be **double elimination**.

## Overview

Each set will be the best of 3 games, up to the Winner finals, Loser Finals, and Grand Finals at which point matches will be best of 5. The game ruleset is a 3-stock battle for 8 minutes. Items, smash charges and hazards are disabled. All characters are legal, **excluding Mii Fighters.** Sudden Death will not be counted, and the player with the most stocks and least damage will be declared the winner. The lowest seed picks the first stage, and the loser of each match counter picks the next stage. Before each counterpick, the winner of the previous game may ban

Minecraft
