General

General Info

  • The Quarantine Series will be a 4 month long wi-fi singles circuit hosted by both Cr1tikal and Alpharad.
  • We have decided to use the EVO 2019 ruleset for this series, additional info about the specific rules can be found here.
  • In order to avoid a large amount of DQs like in the Soaked Series, we will be banning participants from participating in future Quarantine tourneys if they DQ in the first round, provided they are unable to give us a good reason for it.
  • As with the previous tourney, an ethernet adapter will be required in order to ensure smooth, lag-free matches. We have a strict DQ policy and will be removing any players found lagging for the sake of fairness.
  • Registration will be free of charge.

FAQ

  • Can me and my quarantine pal participate with the same switch?

It is certainly possible for two people to register and participate on the tourney with a single console, however, we cannot guarantee that both will have matches at alternating times. Due to the large amount of players odds are said contestants might have matches at the same time meaning one would have to be DQ'd in order to have the other make it to theirs.

  • Is there any chance we can reschedule our match?

Yes, as with our last tournament we will be accepting requests to transfer times after the schedule is released. Make sure to check our discord servers in order to find the form necessary to do so at a later date.

  • I signed up but it turns out i won't be able to make it after all, how do i quit the tournament?

Sadly Smash.gg does not permit contestants to quit the tournament by themselves so we instead ask you to contact a TO or Admin in our discord server with your Smash.gg name and we will remove you as soon as possible.

  • Who should i contact if i have additional questions?

Emails sent to the address at the top of the page go directly to Cr1tikal. However, he won't be able to answer every single question sent his way so we will instead ask you to contact one of the admins or TOs in our discord server. The link is at the bottom of the page.
