Over 9,000 square feet of space at the glorious Cobb Galleria located conveniently on the outskirts of Atlanta, we will be providing 48 dedicated melee setups, 32 dedicated smash 4 setups, 32 dedicated PM setups, with space for players to set up their own for friendlies!

Disclaimer: DO NOT bring outside alcohol into the venue. Anyone caught with outside alcohol will be disqualified and removed from the venue. NO EXCEPTIONS!
General Code of Conduct: Guys, this really should go without saying, but being under the influence of any substance or alcohol while in the venue is discouraged. If you're rowdy enough, We will throw you out without a refund. Sexual harassment rule: If anyone, male or female reports to me or my staff that any individual at the event has made them feel uncomfortable sexually, we're going to have to sit down and have a talk. Depending on how I interpret the situation, the offender risks expulsion from the tournament, disqualification from the bracket, and possibly future bans from any events I run. TL:DR... keep your hands to yourself and don't be obnoxious.
ALL TIMES ARE TENTATIVE
We will be stricter than ever about time. If you leave the building without informing your pool captain and your match is called, you will be disqualified.
Outside food is allowed in the venue.
Standard Evo 2016 Ruleset: SSBM Rules: Game version: US Nintendo GameCube Game Settings: 4 Stock, 8 Minute Time Limit, No Items, Pause Disabled, 2/3 Games Starter stages: Yoshi’s Story, Fountain of Dreams, Final Destination, Battlefield, Dream Land. Counter-pick stages: Pokemon Stadium. Wobbling is legal. Freezing and infinite stalling are not legal. First stage is decided by banning from the Starter Stages in P1-P2-P2-P1 order. Winning player is not locked into the same character for the next match, but has to pick before loser selects character. Following stages decided by winner banning one stage from all stages and then loser choosing. Any matches that are best of five, there are no stage bans. Maximum allowed time between games is 60 seconds. Any player violating this rule will be issued a loss. You may not choose a stage you have already won on unless mutually agreed to.

Gentleman's clause: any stage may be played on so long as both players and the Tournament Host agree to it, including banned stages. This can be used in tandem with the Modified Dave's Stupid Rule (MDSR). Timed out matches will be determined by the remaining number of lives, then percentage of the current stock. In the event of a percentage tie, replay that match. Any Sudden Death match is strictly not to be played.
Additional Rules for Teams Play Life Stealing is allowed. Set team attack to On.

Starter Stages: Battlefield (Miiverse), Final Destination, Lylat Cruise, Smashville, Town & City Counterpick Stages: Dream Land 64, Duck Hunt All Omega stages are banned. First stage is decided by (Rock Paper Scissors) best of 1. Winner strikes, then loser strikes twice, then winner. (1-2-2-1) Following stages decided by winner banning one stage from all stages and then loser choosing. Winning player is not locked into the same character for the next match, but has to pick before loser selects character. You may not choose a stage you have already won on unless mutually agreed to. You may not play on a stage that is not on the available stages list. This will result in a double disqualification. Maximum allowed time between games is 60 seconds. Any player violating this rule will be issued a loss. Sudden Death with a tied percentage/stock count will NOT determine the outcome of a tied game. A playoff match with 1 stock/2 minutes will determine the winner. There will be no loading anything on to the tournament consoles.

This obligation shall continue beyond the term of the Event.
